    World Happiness Report: Bahrain tops Arab nations in 2022

    Bahrain achieved the highest ranking among Arab countries in the World Happiness Report 2022, published by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network at the United Nations. In the report, the Kingdom is ranked 21st out of 146 countries, an improvement of one position from last year. In the report, the Kingdom is among the ten countries that experienced the largest growth between 2008-2012 and 2019-2021.

    World Happiness Report- Bahrain tops Arab nations in 2022Based on the global indicators for social and economic development, these results are an affirmation of the Kingdom’s commitment to social and economic development with citizens at its core. According to the World Happiness Report 2022, 146 countries are ranked according to how happy their citizens perceive themselves to be. Gallup World Poll average results over a three-year period are used to determine the rankings.
